Webdigs Testimonials

Susie D.
Sold her house in just three days, saving $8,500 on the commission. She then bought a townhouse, on which her Webdigs agent helped her negotiate a $26,000 discount, and she still received a $5,613 rebate at closing.
1. What attracted you to Webdigs?
My son-in-law, Scott, plays racquetball with Larry Olson, who works at Webdigs.
2. Please describe your experience with Webdigs.
My agent, Tom Meckey, was very nice to work with. He came to my home, and sat with me and my daughter, Barb, and explained how everything worked. He made me feel at ease with the whole process. But, what I liked best is that he did a great job in helping us set the price for my home. This is a tough market, and we needed someone to do a good job. He came to my home prepared with a list of comparable homes in the immediate neighborhood that had sold over the past year. He gave me a recommended range that we went with. And, it worked. We sold my house in 3 days for the asking price less closing costs and I still saved $8,500 on the normal commission. I also bought my new home through Webdigs and again, Tom Meckey was my Agent. I found a nice townhome in Eden Prairie. Tom helped me negotiate and not only was I able to get the home for $26,000 less than the asking price I also received a rebate of $5,613. I ended up getting the new place for 10% off the asking price, which had already been reduced. Tom did a great job for me.
3. What did you like least? What could we be doing better?
When I bought my home, we were not able to close on time, however, it was an unexpected circumstance. I was annoyed by it, but everything went through ok, so in the end I was pleased.
4. Would you, or have you, recommend(ed) Webdigs to your friends & family?
I most certainly would. I have told my family about Tom & Webdigs.
5. Would you use Webdigs again?
Yes.

Bought a house using Webdigs and received a $3,372 rebate. Jeff and his Webdigs agent were also able to negotiate a 1.6% discount off the asking price, while competing with other buyers for the property.
1. What attracted you to Webdigs?
Tom Meckey and I have been friends for a long time. I am a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and Tom has been sending me business over past few years. When he told me about Webdigs, I was floored. What a great concept! So, there was no doubt that I was going to use Webdigs to represent me.
2. What did you like best about working with Webdigs?
What I liked about Webdigs was that they accommodated my schedule for going out to see homes. Sometimes that meant I was out looking at homes with different agents, due to Tom’s demanding schedule, but that was not a problem for me. I knew what I was looking for and the agents at Webdigs made it easy for me.
3. What did you like least? What could we be doing better?
Well, this may have been symptomatic of the type of home that I was buying, as I bought a home that was in a short sale situation. So, the communication was a challenge. I realize that it wasn’t my agent’s fault that we didn’t get timely answers from the seller, which was a combination of the home owner, their listing agent and the bank that held the seller’s loan. But, if there was a way that the agents from Webdigs could improve that process, that would be my recommendation. It was actually pretty frustrating. But, I will say, that they negotiated a great deal for me. I ended up getting the house for about 12% below what I could have appraised it for…and that is being conservative.
4. Would you, or have you, recommend(ed) Webdigs to your friends & family?
I would absolutely recommend Webdigs. I tell everyone I know about them. It is a great deal for buyers and sellers. People who buy a home and don’t use them are missing the boat.
5. Would you use Webdigs again?
In a heartbeat.

I bought my first home using Webdigs.com, and it couldn't have been easier. Webdigs helped me find the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood and gave me a check for $4,959 at closing. So I bought a widescreen TV and an Xbox. Webdigs is definitely the new way to do real estate in the Twin Cities.
